Thinking about starting a website? For your online business or just your day-to-day blog?
Here are a few recommendations I have researched and made into the list based on the price and functionality, so you do not have to. You're welcome!
1. Wix
Price = unlimited free trial (with ads) / $13 a month
This website maker is straightforward to use and an excellent start for anyone who is a beginner and is still looking for a creative web builder. They have many templates for you to choose from.
Wix offers a free plan with limited bandwidth and storage. However, you can use this plan to test drive their drag and drop website builder. It does not include a domain name, so if you decide to keep your website, then you may want to upgrade to a premium plan.
I highly recommended this web builder because how user friendly it is that even beginners can learn along the way and yet is great enough to impress your audience.
Verdict: Best overall
2. Shopify

It supports business owners throughout the process with their e-commerce tools. Like most other commerce-focused builders, Shopify's platform is geared toward your product and sales details. For those without a lot of experience setting up a retail operation, Shopify is an all-in-one fully hosted solution, this means you don't have to worry about managing software, installing updates, or keeping backups. Shopify does all that for you.
Verdict: most suitable for starter online stores
3. BigCommerce

Like Shopify, this web builder specializes in e-commerce as well but on a bigger scale. I would only recommend this if you have plenty of experience in web building and is looking to upgrade your business to medium or large-scale e-commerce.
Bigcommerce has many features that you can imagine of for Even the lowest BigCommerce plan at $29 gives its clients unlimited users, unlimited bandwidth and storage, unlimited products, and no added transaction fees. You can even link your e-commerce site to eBay, Google Shopping, and Amazon.

4. Wordpress
Price = Free Trial 'unlimited' with ads / $5 a month
Probably you have heard of this one. Arguably the most popular web builder out there and many refer to the free, open-source software available through WordPress.org. It takes some time to learn and still requires that you find a website host and domain name. Verdict: best for writers and blogs
