Have you ever thought about the power of your tongue? The words you confess seem to always appear in reality. People do not recognize the correlation between what you pronounce and the power it has over your life. Today, I will explain the importance of what you speak and how it can have a huge impact on your everyday life.
The type of words that come out of your mouth simply show the condition of your heart. Therefore if the heart is good, the words that proceed from the mouth will also be good. But if the words that come from the mouth are evil, we know the heart is evil. Speak words of love, righteousness, happiness, and kindness. Refrain from hate, uncertainty, unhappiness, and negativity. Your words have the ability to bring joy or cause misery. Proverbs 18:21 puts it this way: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Your words can either speak life, or your words can speak death. Our tongues can build others up, or they can tear them down.
“The heart overflows through the mouth,” meaning what we speak or articulate is an estimate of our true spiritual state. How you speak and what you speak will determine how you attack everyday life. Are you constantly speaking negativity over your situations, or are you bringing positivity and good energy into your space? This is so important in regards to how you will move forward. Your next move could be your best move depending on the words you express. Always speak positively so that positivity can come right back your way.
